OUR BEGINNING
ICWHY was created as a 501(c)(3) in August of 2023, after several years of discussion with family and friends. Our Founder, Mitch Richard, organized the first annual Golf Outing in 2008 to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Union County. Through years of successful work as a solo organizer, a partnership was formed with OHIO811/O.U.P.S. in 2011 to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Union County with an annual Sporting Clays Shoot. The idea of formally creating a non-profit organization to facilitate this work finally came to fruition in 2023 after many years of thoughtful planning.
I've always wanted to do more for Ohio's youth and now we begin to head down the avenue
that will hopefully open more doors to help support Ohio's youth in need.

Many notes and ideas were jotted down over the years, but there was always something in life that kept interfering with the go-ahead to start the business.
Happy to say, we have finally reached a place in time where the proper steps can be taken to make this dream a reality.
Today, with the help of numerous friends and family, HERE WE GO!
For 35 years, Mitch has been employed with the "Call Before you Dig" world of construction and with support from construction members and friends coming together, he was able to raise significant amounts of money to support the underserved youth of Ohio. With this industry putting its foot forward and gathering to support Ohio's youth in need, we strive to continue the work and grow our support for many charities involving youth.
Please help us spread the word and join us for planned events to raise money for Ohio's WORTHY youth in need. Thank you!
